Jalen Carter ejected for spitting on Dak Prescott in Eagles–Cowboys opener
Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter was ejected before the first snap of the season opener after spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott during an injury delay. Officials called it a disqualifiable, non-football act. Dallas scored on the ensuing drive. Both players voiced regret, and the NFL is expected to review the incident for further discipline.
